Contact your Representative about Special Education Vouchers

GAE has always opposed vouchers and our opposition to SB 10 is based on our belief that vouchers weaken public education, and the principle that we should do all we can to strengthen our public schools, to support teachers, parents and students by improving public education.
Special Ed. Voucher Talking Pts.

Vouchers to private schools will simply be sending public taxpayer dollars to private schools which are not accountable to the public and are not held to the same standard as public schools. GAE is working with a coalition of parent organizations, education groups, and public service associations to oppose SB 10, and we will continue to do so. Coalition talking points will be posted on our website, www.gae.org <http://www.gae.org/> tomorrow.

Please contact members of the School Choice Subcommittee and let them
know how damaging vouchers will be to Georgia's public schools.
